Only you alone can save your household. Your village is very attractive and tons of enemies are going to attack it. You will have to create and train your army to protect your land. And a skillful defensive strategy will be needed. Your army will include warriors, magicians, archers and sorcerers. As you progress, you will be able to get new heroes. Your crowd needs to be strong enough to meet and beat up all the approaching enemies. Every level becomes more complicated and requires a stronger army.
